Community

    Heartsease Church is surrounded by fairly dense, older housing that includes two council estates. Many people have lived locally all their lives and their families also live nearby.

    Community services are quite good and although there is always more that can be done, a great deal of neighbourly care and goodwill exists. Church members are very active in the community.

    The seven main churches work and fellowship together to serve the 12,000 people who make up the local population.
